If there was ever any town that could be considered the home of skiing it probably would have to be St. Anton am Arlberg. With approximately 350 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes in varying degrees of difficulty, 200 kilometres of powder-snow slopes, and the geographical attributes resulting in heavy snowfalls St. Anton has prevailed as a true paradise for all skiers, snowboarders, and free-riders.

The Arlberg has always been a very special destination for all mountain sports enthusiasts, as it is a region that promises great skiing, fun après ski sessions, excellent food, and rustic mountain huts to satisfy the need of every guest in this beautiful ski-area.

Since the winter season 2016/17 the brand new Flexenbahn mountain lift connects the ski resorts Zürs with Stuben/Rauz. Due to this modern new lift the skiing in this spectacular ski resort has become even more versatile including first-class comforts. This connection now enables skiers in our ski resort Ski Arlberg to reach every single town by skis, and is the largest connected ski resort of all of Austria.

As a guests here at the Hotel Waldhof we offer special services to convenience your winter holiday. In the morning, you can choose to be taken to the centre of town, right next to the Galzigbahn, with our private shuttle service. In addition, you can store your skis and ski boots at the sport stores Sport Alber or Sport Jennewein free of charge. The local bus going back to the hotel is easy to catch and leaves every 10 minutes: Dorfbus - Line 3 Mooserkreuz - bus stop "Stadle" - then a mere 3-minute walk to our Hotel Waldhof.

At our hotel you can make use of the secure ski storage room for storing skis and ski boots.
