Natural Products for your Well-Being
Our 4-Star-Hotel "The Waldhof" opened its doors on the 21st December 2009. After an intense planning phase, our wishes regarding the use of naturally sourced products balanced with modern features and outstanding comforts were fulfilled and the Hotel Waldhof started welcoming guests.
The Waldhof enchants with light flooded rooms, and subtle design elements ensuring a wonderful ambience by using natural products like spruce, pine, larch, and oak timber, as well as details sourced from wool, like loden cloth and felt.
We paid particular attention to finding building material of the highest quality, preferably locally sourced. Luckily, we found amazing timber directly in our region, which could be worked on by our skilled carpenters.
For our rooms and suites, we chose to predominantly use pine wood, due to the pleasant scent, cosy ambience, and health benefits.
